중급 학습자를 대상으로 한 ‘Korean Listening Skills - Practical Tasks for Intermediate Learner와 함께 시리즈물로 출간된 ‘Korean Listening Skills - Practical Tasks for Beginners’는 초급 외국인 학습자들의 듣기 능력을 집중적인 향상을 위해 만들어진 듣기 전문 교재이다. 주제별로 구성된 실생활 자료로 풀어보는 듣기 과제 학습을 통하여 학습자가 단어 및 표현에 익숙해질 수 있도록 구성하였다. <준비> 영역의 말하기와 <활동> 영역의 읽기, 쓰기 등을 통해 주제별 심화 학습이 가능하다. 이 책은 특히 초급 수준의 실력을 가진 학습자들이 듣기 과제(Task) 풀이를 통해 실생활에서의 한국어 의사소통 능력을 키우는 데 중점을 두었다. 또한 실제 듣기 능력 향상은 물론, 토픽(TOPIK) 등 각종 한국어 인증 시험의 듣기 영역 고득점 획득에도 도움이 될 수 있도록 만들어졌다.
As the first book in series, is designed for basic level of Korean learners to enhance their listening ability. This book consists various listening tasks using authentic materials on practical topics. The learners can consolidate each topic through speaking exercises in the sections and reading and writing in the sections. The learners can learn a variety of vocabularies and expressions used in authentic materials in Korea. Especially, the basic level students with basic language skills can apply these to real-life situations through task-based learning. In addition, the learners can prepare for the listening section of the authorized Korean language tests for foreigners, such as TOPIK.
