<아브라함 링컨> 영문판.1916년에 출간된 로드 찬우드의 아브라함 링컨 전기(傳記).
미국의 제16대 대통령 (재임 1861~1865) 링컨은 남북 전쟁에서 북군을 지도하여 점진적인 노예 해방을 이루었다. 대통령에 재선되었으나 이듬해 암살당하였다. 게티즈버그에서 한 연설 중 유명한 ‘국민에 의한 국민을 위한 국민의 정부’라는 불멸의 말을 남겼다.
